My wife, Brooke, and I started My Neighbor’s Dog Co. after working as neighborhood dog walkers and pet sitters. On those walks, we often found ourselves apologizing when a dog would bark, react, or get a little wild -“Sorry, this is my neighbor’s dog!” It became clear there had to be a better solution for dogs with all that energy and nowhere to channel it.

I have worked with animals as long as I can remember, from the dogs I grew up with, working as a veterinary technician, and animal shelters. At home, we have two rescue dogs of our own and two young boys who absolutely love playing with them. Through these experiences, we understand firsthand how important it is to have happy, well-balanced dogs in any family environment.

We saw a real need in our community for training and obedience, something that truly connects dogs and their owners. But beyond that, our love for dogs and their incredible ability to learn, grow, and explore inspired us to go even further: enrichment.

So, we bought a school bus, loaded it up, and started creating adventures. The bus gives dogs an opportunity to socialize with the world around us in a safe way. Today, we’re proud to offer experiences that build confidence, encourage positive behavior, and strengthen the bond between dogs and their people - all while exploring the world right in our own neighborhood.
